Persistance...
I enjoyed watching the squirrels in my backyard today.
What does this have to do with personal development?
I'll get to that and I'll make it short so you don't think I'm crazy lol.
The older squirells jump on the bird feeder all the time and eat from it, I could not find an effective way to keep them from getting to it...
We have two baby squirrels. I'm giving them peanuts and sunflower seeds.
I watched today how one of them tried to jump on the bird feeder at least 25 times before he actually got on it. He did not give up and he did not take a break. I watched him fall every single time, just to get back up in the tree and try and jump again .
The other baby tried a couple of times, unsuccessfully, and then he gave up.
I could not believe how persistant that first one was and how fast the second one gave up.
I just wanted to share that with you.
Personally, I got a great lesson on persistence today...
I guess it's all about really wanting something and not giving up until you get it, no matter how many times you fall.
I appreciate you,

That is the persistance we all need to succeed. I read that " It's not a failure when you stumble, It's a failure when you don't get up"
Timothy C Burns
Nobody told him it was impossible.
Haha you need to move the bird feeder a foot further away each time he makes it and according to the supposed laws of evolution he will eventually be able to fly :)
It is a very good illustration of life and how many of us are like the one who gave up. No doubt it was jealous of its sibling who is obviously "lucky"
Thanks for the lesson in a smile.
