Your Network Marketing Story? or mine?

Let me know if this sounds familiar.

I came in contact with Network Marketing about five years ago and I joined the company with all my enthusiasm and started working "hard" just like my sponsor was telling me. You know about the "LIST". That was all the training together with placing an ad in the newspaper and paying all the "fees" to be in their "training". I continued doing this until I no longer had any friends, family avoided me and my credit cards were maxed out.

I said I would not fall for that again, so I continued my life, whatever I had left, but about two years later I joined another company that promised all the training and support you needed to become successful, as long as you joined them first before asking for any help. So I did what anyone of us would do, I JOINED. And you guessed it, that whole spill about training was just a sales pitch. There was no training other than "bring people to the meeting and we'll harrass them and not let them leave until they sign up".

So that got me angry and frustrated and feeling powerless about the whole situation while I watched my upline take money from more and more people so I decided I was not going to compromise myself just to make a quick buck. It just did not feel right and I could not take more people to the meeting knowing that we were just going to take their money and forget about them.

Finally I started to look for some help and found a great book that told me exactly what had happened, why it happened and that it was not my fault. When I read that book, I felt like a huge load was taken off my back, it was liberating. And the best thing is that the book was FREE! I am sure this book has saved me from years of struggle and frustration.
