Drinking water with food (whats correct)
A Small Dicipline and bit of knowledge to pass on.
Drinking water before you eat 20-30 mins is good, best to have a full glass and maybe a bit more.
This is the best time to take any supplements as well that you maybe taking, however the regularly misunderstood bit is drinking after dinner, YOU should NOT really drink much if at all while eating and after for a short periods becuse this dilutes the acid and enzymes which your body creates to digest the food you have just eaten, thus slowing the digestive process down.
If you find you need a drink while eating it would normally suggest ther is not enough moist foods like vegetables or salad items.
however dont get me wrong if you need to drink do but try to rmeber the above :)

Water
Dave,
There has to be salads and vegetables on the table. If there isn't and there is only meat, cheese and potatoes one can get constipation. Embarrasingly I had constipation when I was in sleepaway camp at age 14. I had cheese danishes and bagel with cream cheese. No water then. Therefore when I go to the bathroom sometimes I drink water so that I should not have that happening again.
