We're all different, capitalise your uniqueness!
We're all Different
I've just finished a session with my mentor during which I was reminded that we are all different and that is why we should capitalise our uniquenesses. We might have similarities, common interests and get fired up by the same issues but... we are not exactly the same. We're all different.
I'm not the same as my mentor. I'm not trying to imitate her but learn from her new skills, new ways and new concepts to develop my business. I recognise that she has certain knowledge and information I need to achieve my goals and aspirations. She has used this same knowledge and information to achieve her goals and aspirations. Her goals are unique and therefore not the same as mine but she has already achieved some of hers and I acknowledge she can help me capitalise on my uniqueness.
It's good we're not exactly the same as the world would be very boring and every where would be the same. Variety is the spice of life, it is said. This is so true. We can discover new things, new places, new ways of looking at things. It's much more exciting being different!
Celebrate your Uniqueness
Therefore, instead of wishing you were someone else, somewhere else give thanks for who you are. You have unique qualities and gifts you need to recognise and be thankful for!
Taking this attitude will put you in the correct mindset to achieve great success. You have all you need! Start from a position of gratefulness, not scarcity!
In other words, be yourself! Quit trying to be someone else. You were created to be YOU!
The world doesn't want clones. It's after people who can give fresh insight, fresh thinking, fresh inspiration.
Same Championship, different Events
You may want a successful online marketing business, but if it is the same as another it has nothing to add. Nothing to offer except the same!
It's the Olympic Year and here in the UK we're gearing up to welcome all sorts of athletes. There will be runners, swimmers, boxers, volleyball players and weightlifters. There will be those who are 'able' and those who are not. There will be a multitude of nations represented.
Yet, what is their aim?
It's the same.
To win an Olympic gold medal!
As I write, athletes the world over will be training. Training for THEIR event. Training consistently. Training hard. Putting all they have into attaining that gold medal.
This is just as it should be if you are building a networking business. You should be working on it. Working consistently and working hard!
You and I, and my mentor, are seeking to establish a successful, i.e. money making and profitable, business. We're not building the same business but different ones. We're putting in different amounts of time. We're building them in different ways, using different methods. We're building at different rates.
My mentor may have taken only 90days to establish a business that was providing her a better income than her husband's. I might take 180days to build my business. You might do it in more or less.
Whatever, it doesn't matter!
You need to set your own goals and decide how you will achieve it. I hope I will be able to help you on your way.
Whatever you do, TAKE ACTION! Take MASSIVE action! Take the first step NOW! Be different and capitalise your uniqueness.
