It's a Wonderful Life In Network Marketing

Hello everyone I hope you are doing well.

You know you've found the good life when you can't tell the difference between work and play. Everyone should know what it feels like. And anyone who works in network marketing can.

I remember one recent Saturday afternoon Dean and I were sitting at home chatting about our newest marketing strategy. We'd been jabbering on for a couple of hours - it's amazing how much time passes without us even realizing it. Suddenly, Dean put his laptop down and announced that it was time to go grab some lunch and a milkshake.

Now, I'm not one to pass up a good meal especially with ice cream at the end, so we packed up the netbook and took off for the rest of the day. We had a perfectly lovely lunch and while our 7 month old daughter played on the floor, we sat right there in the restaurant and wrote that day's blog post article.

I remember the days when I used to work for someone else and would count the minutes until quitting time. Even though I was a salaried mid-level manager making great money, my day was still divided between work and free time. And I hated it. I resented the fact that in order to make my living, I had to work on someone else's schedule. Now that I work for myself, there's no difference between work and free time. All of my time is free because it's mine to do with as I choose. If it's a nice day outside, I'll load up the kids and head to Starbucks. All I need is a place to set my laptop and I'm set. If it's an ugly day out, I might just curl up on the sofa and work from there. If one of the kids wants my attention, I get hungry, or stumped on what I want to do next, I'll put down my computer and go do something else for a while.

When you live a life of freedom you have the power to choose what you want to do. There's no TGIF because Friday is just like any other day: whatever you want it to be.

Now this idea might scare you at first because maybe you've always had someone else making your decisions for you. Don't worry, with a little practice you'll become a pro at it. Before long you'll find yourself wondering how you ever did it any other way.

Just give it a try, what have you got to loose except the shackles.
