Hey everyone.  I've just complete the first module of a training course I'm developing.

The subject of the course is the effective training of adult learners, with a focus on how to effectively teach the concepts and practices important to new network marketers.

It's my hope that this course will benefit anyone here that is struggling with training their team, by providing you with tips and techniques that I have used during 12 years of successful course development and classroom training.

Please feel free to download a copy of this module and make use of it.  New modules will follow as I get them put together.

I do ask for your contact information when you signup for the course so that I can get in touch with you for feedback.  Please be assured that I won't be spamming you with a bunch of promotions.

You can get your copy of Module One by clicking here.

If you like (or don't like) what you see, please let me know.  I appreciate your feedback.

Enjoy.

Don

Thanks Don.

I like what you are doing with your course.

You gave me a different understanding of educating adults, and I think it looks like the beginning of a very interesting course.

About the only thing I would look at is if its possible to compress your introduction a little more.   Once I got into the course actual you did explain why background is important - but maybe I am impatient, because I found myself starting to skim and getting lost in the beginning.

Perhaps you could shift your history down into the course where you explain why it is neccessary - and then give an example by introducing yourself ?   Just to get the reader into the course quicker.

Otherwise I look forward to learning more.   You are obviously good at what you do.

Cheers,
Dean.

Thanks for the comment

Hi Dean. Thanks very much for taking a look at the course and leaving your comments.

I am going to look at re-doing the intro. After re-reading it myself, I also found it a bit tedious. Funny what going away for a while and then coming back can do for your perspective. Thanks very much for your helpful critique.

Do you have any recommendations for what you'd like to see in the next module? I was thinking about a piece on focus. I've found that it's very easy to get distracted with all the information out there. So I was going to create a module on teaching your team to dig into your organization's training, or hook up with one or two great groups, like BetterNetworker, instead of chasing every new guru that lands in their inbox!

So, that's what I was thinking, but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks again Dean. Take care and all the best.

Don
