Slick Sales Presentation? 2
So, the presentation in the video in my last blog wasn't so slick after all. Or was it?
Do you remember the fellow's name? Do you remember what he was trying to sell? What about the URL on the bottom of the screen?
Aha! That's what makes it so bad it was good. Most of us remember the answer to at least two of the three questions.
Normally, something new must be mentioned to us 9 times before we find the sound of it familiar. It takes closer to 20 times before we can really remember it. Except when our defensive filters are taken down.
Our brains filter out most of what we're exposed to. Have to, or we'd all go insane from information overload. But, anger, fear and laughter have the ability to make us drop our shields and record what we see and hear. You can probably remember what the two signs on the back wall said, can't you?
So, if this gentleman were truly selling what he says he's selling, he'd get some traffic with this video. By the way, if you'd like to know what he's promoting, here's a link to the URL he flashed on the screen. http://www.districtlines.com/andrew-bravener And he does make sales from this site. About half of his traffic comes from that not so slick sales presentation.
