Networking & Relationships
What is networking without relationships? Inevitably we only end up networking, for the long term, with people with which with build a strong working relationship with. It is almost reflective of the personal relationships that we have in our lives.
If our personal lives have some sour relationships that are unhealthy and drain us from focusing, growing and educating ourselves to become better network marketers, it is the same thing as prospecting and networking poorly.
For instance, if you only talk to about 5 people a day for your business and get all "No" answers, or none of the people are qualified, it is similar to being in a poor personal relationship where you are not receiving much, if any, support for working towards becoming a fully successful home business professional.
Now take that scenario and pretend that you take to 50 or more people a day and you have a handful of "Yes" answers that are moving forward and taking more action... This is similar to being in a personal relationship with a person that understands your goals and supports you with enthusiasm.
Now the relationship between the two is very simple... Not easy, but simple. In the first instance, there is not much commitment, whereas in the second instance, there is 100% commitment.
Life is full of people that are willing to commit just a little bit, however, it is the people that are willing to throw it all in and just go for it, while in the process creating those lasting friendships and relationships along the way.
Our industry is such a beautiful place to be because we are able to truly touch peoples lives and watch as a person goes through their journey to materializing the raw potential that lies in us all.
