Let me not get into a comparison of Market Samurai with other keyword research tools. I have read many reviews of this type and have always felt they are tilted to favor one or the other. If you want to buy a keyword search tool, buying Market Samurai is a decision you must take on the merits of the product alone. And this article will only tell you what it does.

So let's start. The first thing I want to cover in this Market Samurai Review is the fact that there are 8 tools here and not just the keyword search tool. These tools are Keyword Research, Rank Tracking, SEO Competition, Domain Finding, Monetization, Content Finding, Content Publishing and Site Promotion. An AdWords Integration module is expected shortly.

How does the Keyword Research module work? Frankly, not very differently from the other keyword search tools in the market. You type in a word you want to look up and Market Samurai rushes off to Google in the specified territory to pick out as many as 800 like words (if you have your AdWords account registered in Market Samurai). Now with this huge wealth of information you can sort on parameters that you feel confident to compete against and in a few minutes you are rolling. One feature of this keyword search tool does the job of at least 4 essential but distinct sites (Google, Google keyword tool, Google trends and Microsoft commercial intent finder) that would need to be visited for each keyword! Plus insider info that you wouldn't even get from those sites!

But this is just the beginning. The Rank Tracker tool will reveal to you the backlinks and page ranks of any keyword on any domain as they are seen by the 3 major search engines! This helps you plan your strategy to compete with specific pages on specific sites.

Further the SEO Competition tool paints a red-yellow-green visual picture of how difficult your competition to enter page 1 of Google looks like. Every site is dissected on 13 on-page and off-page SEO parameters and each one can be drilled down to great depths.
