Taking Personal Responsibility

I would like to share something with you I feel very strongly about.

In my experience, I have found jobs very limiting and if I continued to work a job, I would never be able to reach my full potential. I just could not accept in my heart that I was on this planet to live a mundane existence performing medial tasks. It just made more sense to me to start leading a passionate and fun-filled life while working towards my life’s purpose (which was not bartending).

I believe in this changing economy, it is more important than ever to start taking personal responsibility and stop depending on others to tell us what to do. It is time to start learning to know for ourselves. Think for a moment… If going to school and getting a good job is such a great idea why are so many people broke and unhappy? Why are so many people out of work and losing their homes? The get a good education and get a good job model may have proved fruitful in past generations but not anymore.

So what are your options? That is the question I asked myself and I concluded I must become an entrepreneur. Then I made a decision to become a self-reliant man and take the road less traveled. I stopped blaming outside circumstances and stopped making excuses for my current situation. And, I embraced the fact that I am the sole-creator of my reality and decided “Hey, if I created this crappy life, then that means, I can create my ideal life”. This has made all the difference in the world.

Not only have I created a better life for myself, I am now able to assist others in creating their ideal life.
