This current financial fiasco
I have felt for some time that we should gut Congress and get a whole new group in there.
These are the people (both sides) who created this, and benefitted from it. Now they ask us to give them an unprecidented amount of money to fix the problem. The democrats have the votes to pass this bill without the Republican side voting at all. But, they don't want to do that because if this bill goes south they'll be on the hook for it. And, they should.
This current house and it's leaders are the most incompetent group of people I've ever seen. When they came in 2 years ago they promised the world to us, and they haven't produced a thing ... Not one ... that they promised.
Their hatred of Bush has consummed them for 8 years, and they're still harping on that ... they apparently do not realize that Bush is not running for office. How about looking in their own closet and cleaning up their own messes.
If they are allowed to take over this country, we are in Dire straights. The United States of America will no longer exist as we know it. It will be socialized, and be left to the caron to pick.
