ASK and BE BOLD  Success's Biggest Secret

I wrote this story to show you how to be successful in Life, Network Marketing and MLM.

When fulfilling his family’s needs my father could not be embarrassed.

When ASKED, Generosity can be turned into a Shared Gift.

I remember when I was a young boy; Dad and I were driving down the road headed home one day, when I was young and spotted on the side of the road in someone’s trash a broken Big Wheel tricycle. After stopping the car to pick it up he went to the house and asked the woman of the house if he could take it, and he thinks he can fix it.

“It would be great if I could give my son this,” Dad said.

I thought that was very bold of him, a proud blue collar working class man to almost admit to be poor and asks for her trash.

The woman felt great doing him such a favor and it made her day, explaining that her kids have grown and it has not been used in years.

Then she said, “I also have a nice bicycle that I couldn’t throw away, you are welcome to that if you want it.”

And my Dad said, "Yes, Thank you."

So as we left not only did I have a "new" Big Wheel to ride and a bike to grow into, but Dad also made the woman happy that these toys can still be enjoyed and not just thrown away.

So Dad taught me that there is genius and even kindness when you have the ‘guts’ to be bold.

ASK for What You Want is the BIG Lesson

This is how to be successful in Life, Network Marketing and MLM.

When fear creeps into my thinking and I start to set limits on what I can do or not do, I think back to that ‘Big Wheel’ tricycle. I have to remind myself how some people have a low outlook for success, have a low tolerance for risk and whose behavior is guided by fear. Great memories like these have stuck with me.

That is why I understand how to be successful in Life, Network Marketing and MLM.

My father said, “The answers NO if you don’t ask.”  So to get what you want you have to go out and ask for it.

“Strike while the Anvil is Hot.” He would say.  If he didn’t I would not have the joy of those toys.

The same is true on how to be successful in Life, Network Marketing and MLM.

Some people lose out so much when they don’t give their help or time.   Most people are nice like the woman who answered the door.  Your challenge is to graciously accept the generosity that you're offered.  Learning to receive is also a skill to be learned and if you don't learn that you will never  be successful in Life, Network Marketing and MLM.

Many times I like to make a big difference in another person's life by just opening a door, help them make a business call that they would not be ready to make themselves.  I also share ideas I have learned along the way.  Sometimes it is refused but that simple act alters destinies like the woman at the door did to me so long ago.

I am 

‘Paying It Forward.”

That is how to be successful in Life, Network Marketing and MLM.

Some people can’t accept the favor because they are not sure if they will ever be able to repay you or they would rather not be obligated to anyone, so they have to pass.  Then some will insist right then and there that they’ll return the favor somehow.  To me, nothing is as infuriating to me as encountering such blindness about how things work.

You can not be  successful in Life, Network Marketing and MLM until you learn how to receive.

If you try to do this alone you will be like people who insist on trying to beat the world by themselves, which means they continue to struggle.

Don’t put yourself through that misguided fantasy of success and remember this secret I share with you.
