What Do I Say To My Prospects To Make Them Sign Up?
How does a person become a "master recruiter"? Are they getting better leads? NO. Are they explaining the product, business, or comp plan better? NO. Are they convincing the prospect that they are going to make a ton of money better than you do it? NO. Are they a better salesperson than you? NO.
Fact is they are not doing any of the above at all. Master recruiters don't spend their time trying to convince anyone of anything except for the fact that if they keep doing what they are doing then they will continue to get the same results as they have been having. So what they say is a whole lot of nothing and they are doing alot of questioning and listening.
If you want to take your sponsoring and closing to the next level you need to find out what the person you are talking with wants! This is all that matters. You have to find out what emotional problem he is having with the way his life, job, income, relationships, etc are going. Until you find out what they want then you will have a slim chance of sponsoring them. When you do find out, you will stand a great chance.
Why? Because you have the bullets and your target can't avoid what he wants. What he wants burns in him. He has wanted it for a long time, thought about it often. Looked at different things. Imagined his life with it. But, he has not figured out how to get it. When you link and bridge his wants with your solutions to get what he wants then he will join.
Everyone else has told him how great their product and comp plan is. No one has focused on what the prospects desires and wants are. He loses interest and says "check back with me in a week". He never anwers your calls again. Sound familiar? I used to do it too, so don't feel bad.
What do you say to your prospect to make them sign up? Not much! Ask a bunch of the right questions that get them talking about what they want in life, what upsets them and what they want to be different and why. Then show them how they can use you and your business to get it. Then and only then should you briefly talk about your business. If they are serious then they will want to see more. If they ask for more then you should have a rep. Keep linking the prospects needs and wants with your ability to provide a solution to his problem. The prospects problem is that he has not been able to find a way to get the results he wants. You and your business are that solution.. Remind him of both.
