@@ THERE IS JUST WAY TOO MUCH CRAP ON LINE AND OFF!! @@
Why do we keep trying to sell people things they don't want? Bad training, wrong ideas, and many other reasons, its just wrong and stupid - If I go to a store I'm looking for some thing I hope they have or I would not be there- most of use never get any people to our on line store - let alone find out what they want and than give it to them. Great marketing and sales do both - it - marketing gets people to your store and great sales makes sure they get exactly what they want. Both are essential to profits and survival - most of us never get to stage ONE - great marketing - let alone to great sales and real relationships with our customers - more on these later - like most of you I'm still learning how to market with great success so the other things come along too! If you really know how to market on and off line the rest will also come - if you do it right - theres a lot to doing it - RIGHT! - take a look at renegade marketing - make this a great new year work on the HARD THINGS TOO! It is time to move on and upward
The only way to really do that is team up with a professional group that really gets results and makes you a whole lot more than you paid them for their training and coaching -- I think I have finally found such a group -- time will tell - we are currently seeing if it is a match for each other and if I am coach-able and can afford their service. More on what I found out in the future -- Roger L Martin
Why don't we interview people better before they join us?
If I were going to sign up on your sales team, in the real world, of say corporate sales -- I'd have have to first look at the ad -- in the paper or some where else, to know if I could even apply for the job - than fill out the application, interview(s) and be tested out on a probation -- than if I did all these things well -- I just might get to stay on the team - real and successful networking is some what different but should it be? Yes and No -- Yes you should qualify people who want to be team members, that is -- do they know what it will take to be successful the first year? Are they a match for what it will take? Are they trainable? Do they desire to learn what it takes to be successful and will they do these things long enough to become successful? On the other hand, can you as a leader teach them what they will have to do -- to become successful, can you weed out those that will not be successful? How do you know?
I think training on both sides of the fence needs to be worked on -
If I'm going to pay for the training -- what am I going to get?
If I don't pay for the training -- what am I going to get?
There is so much more to this -- I going to pay for some training but before I do -- the team will test me out on several things and areas, assignments etc -- depending on what I do -- I may just qualify and if I don't -- there will be no payment and there will be NOT TRAINING ETC. ---
I WILL NOT BE ON THE TEAM!
Some of you know what I'm talking about and others have no Idea -- There is a new level of professional coaching and training coming -- those that don't qualify don't have to worry about becoming part of the team, and those that do will go on to much greater heights!
All I'm saying is that some teams and professionals are going to be much more helpful than others -- best of continued success, no matter what path you take to your success!
