My Journey - August 2012

This month (July) I wrote an article about LinkedIn titled LinkedUp, LinkedIn.

What makes LinkedIn different from the plethora of social networking site at our disposal today, is that this platform is designated specifically for business professionals.

As I was reading through some emails, one in particular made me sit up and listen. It was an email from none other than BetterNetworker. Whilst I usually find their emails interesting and informative, this one was much closer to home as it was about health.

An extract of it read, "It's shocking how little attention most people devote to taking care of themselves".

The sad thing about this is, it's true.

After all, what is the point in building a successful company and being successful, if you don't get to enjoy the riches.

You get one shot at life, and you were given the greatest tool in order to enjoy it, your body. Take care of it and it will allow you to enjoy the things that you love for as long as you love doing them.

This one email got me thinking. I am going to share with you the things that I know about maintaining a healthy mind and body.
