Hi there, Guy here! You may have heard of me, but I would expect that most of you that are serious about finding a home business work opportunity have yet to hear my name before. First, a short story about how I got started with my home business work opportunity...

I was young impressionable and -- nah, I'm just messing with you. I was 6 years removed from an undergraduate program where I had successfully received a degree in both finance and economics. In reality, I hated both fields. I ended up working at a commercial bank for a number of years, became a manager and was earning over a six-figure income by the time I was 25 years old (Not saying this to impress you, but press upon you).

Home Business Work Opportunity - Pyramid Network Marketing Companies, BY DESIGN are built as a pyramid (hence the term 'pyramid scheme') and if you look at the statistics 97% of people in this industry make under $100 a month. No kidding, but when you understand the structure of course it makes sense that the leaders at the top with the largest 'teams' make the most. It's logic.

I'm not knocking MLM companies, in fact, I know many people who have made it work and some of them are great friends of mine, people like Ann Sieg who is very popular among the MLM elite. You can see me and Ann hanging out here, because even Ann has shifted her focus towards this new model that I chose to open my home business work opportunity inside of. Mentorship: What you want is a mentorship relationship with those that have found success when it comes to your home business work opportunity. You want access to them, to be on the 'inside' so to speak. To give them a reason to want to work with you and invest their time in developing YOU as a leader as well. You'll also want a compensation plan and system that encourages this type of mentality from the top-down, You'll want to create the same being and action in everyone who joins alongside you. Cultivating leadership is pivotal for success.

Ongoing Training: These days things move fast, especially in online marketing (which is where anyone successful plays today) and you want to make sure that you are getting ongoing training on the latest marketing and sales techniques available. What worked two years ago is not necessarily What's Working Now. Make sure you are getting trained on three crucial areas: Marketing, Sales, Leadership.

Leadership: I've heard way too many stories where companies are disolved from the top. Meaning that the 'super distributor' up and leaves the company slashing people's residual paychecks by over 70% overnight. Ouch! Make sure that your income is based on your work alone, you'll find it difficult to find "rockstars" like yourself who will have a work ethic and resolve to build anything for an extended period of time. Most people are not cut out to be true entrepreneurs. In an industry that has such a low entry barrier you can't really expect to get much quality, the 'ole you get what you pay for adage. Wouldn't it be nice if you could get paid a lot for one sale versus collecting a little bit from many sales? Hmmm...keep that in mind as we explore more options in this home business work opportunity review.

Community: The truth is that most people have been brought up with the 'worker bee' mentality and I wish there was an "easy button" that could flip the switch, but Apple hasn't invented it yet. When starting a a home business work opportunity, realize that you will be home alone working, no boss (Yippe!), and no direction at first. Having a community that you can communicate with daily, bounce ideas, share experiences, grow, and learn together is vital to your success. Don't underestimate the power of community.

Aw with community, I can not express how important this process is for your own personal and business development. The ability to mastermind with top leaders in your company is an added bonus and will yield the fastest results imaginable. But how to gain access to them? Read on...

Self Generated Leads: No self respecting success story would tell you that they bought leads from elsewhere. Their leads are self-directed, super targeted, and they attack their respective niche like hornets who's nest was knocked over by an unsuspecting individual. With the cost of some company leads being as much as $30 per lead (which is insane!) and the unknown quality of these leads, your chances of success just got slashed in half times two (Math was never my strong-suit).

When you know how to create your own super targeted leads and have the appropriate marketing and sales training, you will NEVER have to sell anything at all. Your marketing will do all the selling and telling for you. You will just collect checks and let the marketing do all the work. Isn't that whole point of being a home business entrepreneur, freedom? I've never had to make one cold-call since starting my home business and you better believe that the first action I took in my business was NOT making those infamous "top 50" family and friends list. Can anything make you feel more sleezy then selling to the people closest to you in order to kick-off your business? Worse yet, what do you do when they don't buy or join up with you? S.O.L.

Live Events: You might be wondering what this one has to do with your home business work opportunity. Well, I'm so glad you asked! Forget those hyped up "rah-rah", "we are the best and everyone else sucks" events. You want to go to events that deliver actual training, quality, and true networking. When I attended my first event it was a major shift for me. I went from being someone who 'believed they could succeed' to be being someone who 'knew they could succeed'. The distinction is mild, but extremely powerful.

I see way too many people enter into an online home business work opportunity believing they should have overnight results, push button million dollar systems with zero personal investment. The truth is that a home business work opportunity is not so different then building any other business. It requires patience, resolve and investment. Granted with an online business you can be very successful in a 6 to 12 month time frame, operate from anywhere in the world, work on your own time, and have a global presence. Totally feasible in fact...

A bricks and mortar business typically fails (over 90%+) in the first 3 to 5 years, carries with it overhead, liabilities, insurance, taxes, training, and you have to be there to open/close in order to turn a profit. What's more important than your future? So, Stop the stress already and stop making excuses as to why you can't do something you really want to do.

Finally, we come to MONEY (Bum, Bum, BUMMMMM). Money, in REALITY is dirty paper with dead presidents on it. It is nothing more then a measurement of value, more succinctly, a measure of YOUR value. The more valuable you can become to people, the more they will be willing to work and pay you for those services. Hence why personal and business development is vital to success. If you aren't learning new skills and expanding your own value and leardership, your Dead!

Money and time is the ultimate knee jerk reaction to people who don't want to think about what is REALLY holding them back and what is holding them back is almost never time or money. Anything...I mean anything, that you've ever really cared about or deemed urgent you've found the money for and made the time for. Validate it with your own experiences.

If you are serious and I mean DEAD serious about making a change in your life, then you'll probably have to deal with whatever it is that you fear the most to find your success.
