Your Doing All This Internet Stuff For A Reason Right?
It’s me again. Yesterday I told you about my experience with a student as it relates to getting proof and also the true power of your blog. Before I get into today’s topic I have to say I really enjoy blogging on Better Networker, it kinda therapeutic for me after a hectic working day (especially like today). My cousin came over to eat lunch with me and we were having small talk. We talked about the weather and how hot its been the last couple of days in the ATL and then she asked me a question that made me laugh but think at the same time. She said “Gloria, all that internet stuff you are doing is for a reason right?.” I said “yes, that is how I operate my business.” She said “oh because every time I come by your just sitting there typing or telling me to be quite so you can do a video.”
It made me laugh because she is right and then she had me think about some online home business owners are doing everything they are told but like my cousin, don’t see the reason why they have to do a lot of work to sponsor a rep or get a customer.
What you have to keep in mind is your business is marketing…
You job is understand your prospect needs as much as possible and communicate your solution to them using the different online tools that are available. So, even if it feels like you are not getting anywhere with your marketing efforts or you purchase every course that comes out and still having a hard time sponsoring or selling, you might want to go back and take a good look at the message you are communicating to your prospects.
Remember, you can have all the tools in the world but if the message is not right, the tools is useless.
So if you want people to join your opportunity and the only reason you have for them to join is the fact that you have the best compensation plan or there are people making thousands or hundreds of thousands a month, I’m sorry to say but you need to revisit your marketing message. People want to know what is in it for them. They want to know what they can gain by joining you. They want to make sure that if they join you, they will be able to experience the same success you have or the man on the stage.
Pretty simple right?
So, the next time you ask yourself the same question my cousin ask me, think about message that you are trying to convey to your prospect and then get back to work and make it happen.
