From the Forum: What is it the top earners are doing?

Yes, meeting people over the phone and in person is always best, yet many (even here at BN) think they can grow a substantial business just by blogging, and social networking online. Not very likely this day and age with more sellers than buyers it seems online.

Plus those selling "Internet only" tools and services are missing out on at least 80% (and about 40% who would never see their online marketing message) of the people that might be interested in something much simpler, like "snacks" for example. Everybody can relate to healthy snacks whether you are in the office at work, in your home with the kids, or even walking around town shopping and always keeping samples handy in one's purse, or briefcase with a business card.

It's fine if you're selling marketing tools to your group or downline to use to help them, but first you have to develop a group, and the odds are highly against those that sell internet based services and tools only. The market is just not big enough in this space for all the sellers and that's a major drawback.

Plus there are those selling marketing tools only as their primary network marketing business and I believe this is a huge mistake too, and their business will not grow to the point where they will develop a "walk away income" as they say.

Again, keeping things simple so that anybody (even a ten year old) can do is always best and it involves personally meeting and speaking with people over the phone and face to face whenever possible, and again, if the target market a marketer is selling to is internet based only, good luck, because they are going to need it.

I've been online marketing products and services since 1995, and have done quite well over the years, and I''ve noticed a couple of important things:

1. People that gravitate all the time to "free, and cheap" (in some cases it's good depending on the circumstance), are more than likely not going to do much business, and not make them or you any money.

2. People that sell internet based tools/services and internet based mlm programs may do ok, but the odds are heavily, and I do mean heavily against them making any substantial amount of money in this space only, because after all; many forget this is business (like all business) involving networking, marketing, and making sales to real people not just someone on the other end of a computer screen.

Anyway, that's my two cents and we all agree, keep it simple. And with that said, I'll say keep it simple, keep it healthy, and keep it fun to eat so even a kid can relate to it, and that's another huge market that most in the MLM/Networking Marketing industry completely ignore, or forget about. Yes, kids! Kids consume too, and who are the best marketers; kids again, just ask McDonalds. Get the kids "hooked" and the wallets will follow for sure, and they will more than likely have a life long customer.

I see it time and time again, the parent goes to McDonalds to get their kids a "happy meal" (complete garbage), and end up spending fifty bucks by the time they leave. Fun, tasty food and toys the kids will love, and so the kids bug the you know what out of the parents to go to MickyD's until the parents capitulate and go. Heck, I need a team of 30 or so kids in my group and the rest would be history as they say. :0) All kidding aside....

One last thought...

E.G. "Hey Kids! Would you like this new fangled wizbang marketing tool and gadget that can help you make tons of money on the Internet, and you get 100% commissions, and it's free, but if you upgrade it's only five bucks?" Kids, "What's a new fangled gadget!?" Ok, how about a fun snack instead? Kids, "YES! gime, gime, gime!" Should I say more? Right, end of story.

Plus could you image saying something like the above to a co-worker, friend, or family member in person? The new fangled gadget phrase that is. Probably not, because you would be too embarrassed to do so right? I know I would be and so I just hand them a tasty snack to try, and keep it simple.
P.S. More on the subject here on my BN blog "You Can't Build a Large Sustainable Business in Your Robe and Bunny Slippers" http://ow.ly/8ZNEG . Enjoy!

THE CHICKEN NUGGET DIET

Girl eats practically nothing else for 15 years but...http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4086801/Girl-eats-nothing-but-chicken-nuggets-for-15-years.html Have you ever seen what is in chicken nuggets, or how they process them before frying them? As the saying goes, "You don't wanna know" because you would probably have to visit the bathroom a few times afterward, and stick your finger down your throat to induce vomiting.

True story: I saw this lady at a convenient store this past weekend with her looked to be 6 or 7 year old daughter. The lady was obese, and her little daughter was following right in her footsteps.

The so called parent let her buy a large soda, and a whole bag (and it was a fairly large bag, about 4ozs) of those sugar worms, you know like gummy bears but they look like colorful worms and coated with more sugar. Yes, can I have more sugar with my sugar please! Yes, you can, and it will cost you a dollar seventy nine more. :0) All kidding aside.

Another true story: This little adorable girl was with her dad at this mini-mart store I go to at lunch sometimes, and she looked to be about six at the most. Her dad let her buy a "BIG GULP" sized soft drink that looked bigger than she was, and... are you ready? Ten of those little chocolate donutes in package! What are these parents thinking!?!?!?

As it says in the "Word". "...train your children up right, so it sticks with them in old age..." I paraphrased, but it's crystal clear and the truth! Many parents are training their children up to be fast food, junk, and sugaraholics literally, and their smartphones are becoming smarter than they are literally. Sad but true as the song goes.

One last story... A co-worker took his son to his elementary school because they were having a breakfast at the school. He said they fed them, cinamin sticks, pancakes with syrup, and a chocolate milk to wash it all down with. And we wonder why kids are bouncing off the walls, unruly, and have ADD, and CADD (cell phone attention deficit disorder - of course I made that up:))

Can you say child abuse? I can! Come ON! How much processed sugar do kids need in one sitting!! Track your sugar intake lately? Snack ON! http://get.snackhealthy.com/
