Talking More "Smack" in The Forum - Re: Are You Marketing Offline?
Well Willie, there is no need to apologize and "...All Apologizes..." (love that Nirvana song.) Accepted. Tip Willie, if you are going to rant, do it, and then let it go.
Again, apologizing is after the fact, and if you were really sorry, you would not have done it in the first place. Anyway, I may rant here, and there every once in a while (and Joyce knows because I don't get out enough as she said -:)), but I just get tired of all the phony niceness and flattering all over the Net these days people try to do online all the while giving you some line of crap that they haven't done themselves, and anybody with a half a brain cell can see right through it.
Like they are the big attraction marketing specialist now and it's so profound, and they discovered it kind of thing. Gee, give me a break already will you, I think I'll go watch another Charlie Brown episode where Lucy pulls the ball away from Charlie just for therapy.
Let's be honest, we are all here to make money in our business, and everybody here is pretty much competing unless they are on some team that is working to compete against the rest here. Most of my team are busy elsewhere and three of them are millionaires and one makes over 8K a week, and she did it in 16 months in medium sized town and 100% offline other than doing what savvy marketers do, have online webinars, and training, and by using the old fashion phone. And she was not some "big shot" marketer for Corporate American or from Real Estate gone MLM. She was a former school teacher and no sales background to speak of, and again the process and system works.
I'm learning a ton from them because I'm an SEO/SEM Social Media Marketing guy, and not the best at what they do in this specific Industry, making sales within the context of the Network Marketing Industry, so they are helping me a ton to make sales and are doing probably what very few if any direct upline does (my direct is the VP of Marketing for the Co, and I speak and work with him on a regular basis) and that is they handle most of my good prospects (and some not so good), for me and close the deal if at all possible.
I simply drive traffic online and offline to landing pages and they pretty much take it from there, or I follow up with a call at an appointed time and then call the VP of marketing (99% can't say that in their business - which makes a huge difference when dealing with "high end" prospects or any for that matter) to edify him and hand the ball off basically, and then he enrolls them properly.
OFFLINE MARKETING WITH BIG AL
I also use a lot of tips that Tom Big Al Schrieter suggests offline and his one minute presentation and other methods of asking questions to peak interest are very common sense and work from my direct experience, and he is having a conference in Vegas Next month and I plan to attend, and have already booked it. Anybody going? Anyway...
Big Al's seminars are dirt cheap and the guy is a legend in the industry, and he's only 4 1/2 hours from me, and he mainly teaches offline marketing and sales techniques, and that's what we are talking about here right? So, I suggest anybody that can make one Big Al's conferences to go, and it's very affordable to do so. Not $500.00, not $300.00, not even $200.00, but $20.00.
Yes, 20 measly bucks to get in, and he knows at least as much or more than all these Johnny and Jane come lately, that charge the big bucks so they can go blow it in Vegas on some drinks and entertainment like two guys say in one of their newsletters I get. Why not pocket the other $480.00 and blow it yourself while you are in Vegas.
Plus having a very simple 4 step process (like our Team United does, whether online or offline marketing is done - same process), and that is proven (and our team has very proven results just by looking at their MBA - Massive Bank Accounts), and we offer a very simple product that 100's of millions are already familiar with and consume every day, and even kids love the products, and that is the final key 99% overlook in this industry.
It's called market research, which is critical before joining any business or starting one, who's my competition in the Industry, how saturated is it, and how much market penetration has there been, i.e. number of Distributors and Independent Reps competing with you. Is it, a 1000, a few thousand, a 100K, or millions in your category competing against you in the marketplace selling basically the same products at the same prices for the same Co or in this case probably 100's of Co's in the category in question.
I know two SH Distributors here in LA, and I'm one of them and the other isn't even really actively marketing SH consistently, and I know because we know of each other. Competition, almost non-exsistent in the Network Marketing Industry and SH is first in the Marketplace in this specific category in this specific industry - again key like FB was, and Google, and Microsoft, and Apple were, and the marketplace is wide open for healthy snacks that millions already consume (even kids), and no behavioral modification is needed. "NO Brainer" as they say.
"It's just Snacks!" Christina Hodge - Team United and Multimillion dollar earner in the Network Marketing Industry, and that has got to be the most brilliant statement I've heard in a long time. Really, because all the greats break things down to their most simplest form, and have a product that is so simple, it's like the "pet rock", even kids can relate to it, and it's going to explode in short order. Like the "pet rock" did.
The only one more genius than Christina, that I know of is; Katherine West, the President/CEO, because she really "gets it". Yes, WAHM can look up to her, and know for sure the "glass ceiling" has been broken, or was it all just a myth!? I think myth really, because all things are possible to him who believes.
P.S. Ray Higdon, is a great offline marketer, and most very good real estate agents have to be, and he was one of the first to really get the coins deal really going and now look at him, he has a MBA in the Network Marketing industry, and he said he had failed eleven times before that.
This time he had a very unique product, and lots of egos that love those kinds of products buying them, and that was a very good thing for Ray, and Ray is a sharp cookie, he knows coins aren't the best investment right now, but he was first, and it's better to be first, than to be best, and many bought his brilliant marketing.
Like Nirvana, who recorded, "Nevermind" right here in Van Nuys CA, back in the day, and was first in their category, "Grunge" and created a completely whole new category of music (like the Beatles, who weren't really first, it's just thier competition died in a plane crash unfortunately), and they of course wrote many "killer" songs, and sold 100 million albums worldwide as a result, and that's what counts in life, results. They were not the best musicians by far, just first.
