Much of the time I spend with Network Marketers is helping them analyze their opportunities. For one reason or another they are not experiencing the progress they expected and they want to learn why. I was working with a lady that was in love with her product but she did not understand why she was having problems getting and retaining reps..
This meant that no system was in place that could be easily duplicated and no up line leadership. If she was unable to work the system she was certainly unable to teach it. She wanted me to help her evaluate her program to learn what else was missing.
We went through her P&PS and comp plan. Areas of concern popped up right away. The 32 pages of legalese included such provision as on going monthly training and monthly recruitment requirements. That meant that she could never retire and enjoy a residual income. There were no provisions that allowed her business to be passed to her heirs.
The comp plan was a binary and she was a green. She would never be able to build the strong leg. It also required approximately 3,500 enrolled reps for her to earn $10.000.00 a month income.
We discovered that the company was purchasing lavish properties in Europe that represented no benefit to her. The money used for those extravagant purchases were came on the backs of their hard working representatives.
She had been investing her time and money for over four years, at a net loss. Please do not build your business on promises. You need to spend the time investigating the rules governing your pay, terms of service and what they can discharge you for.

I find it hard to believe that there are people out there that get into This sort of situation..
What is that poor lady doing now surely she would have Left that company ??
Boy is that persistance or not 4 years,
Give me 2 of Her type and I believe with the right company and training they would be up there near the top..She had a couple of admirable traits... Never Ever Quit..Persistance.

Not yet Paul. She is so soled on the product that I think she shed a tear when we uncovered the truth about her opportunity.
We are still friends maybe some day.
