If Prospect Asks How Big Your Bonus Checks Are, What Do You Say?
If Prospect Asks How Big Your Bonus Checks Are, What Do You Say?
This is a problem for those just starting or those that have been unsuccessful in their businesses and there is no meaningful income generated.
The prospect wants to know if it will be worthwhile to invest their time and money. They are hoping that you do not make much so they have an excuse to dismiss you.
What to say? Try this for an answer.
“I found out that I needed to get 125 people using my products regularly. That would replace my $30,000 annual income from my job. Right now, I am learning to use a system to accumulate those 125 users. I just decided one day… What is easier to do? Commute and work my job for the rest of my life… or learn how to get 125 product users.”
The answer was easy. CLICK HERE to see for yourself.

I can not wait to try that.

Excellent advice..
I had never thought of that, I've always used the approach of "I just started out, but my sponsor's check was X last month."

If a prospect asks how big your bonus checks are.
When a person has yet to develop posture, this question stings. It goes right to the heart of the gap between where the person is and where she wants to be. It's a glaring signal that the amount of income generated as of today falls short of one's goal.
Rather than answer that question, I make this statement: "It's not how big my checks are. It's how big yours will be." And I follow it with a question of my own: "How much do you want to make?" I can't take credit for this response. I learned it from Jeffery Combs.
Nice Angle....
That is a nice angle to a question that gets asked all the time.
I even go as far as saying it is not about me, it is about you. I am "still wet behind the ears" and have seen an incredible opportunity with this company and obviously you have too. Otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation. Again, it is not about how much money I am currently making it is about the potential that both you and I have and lets go and do this together. I can get you in touch with the right people and you will not be alone.
Just some thoughts.

Thank You
Now I know what to tell people when they ask me the same question. It makes perfect sense.
