Wasting Time?

Question: Is spending over an hour trying to change your (forum post) signature at Better Networker wasting your time?

I have mixed feelings about that.

YES...if you can't get it resolved like what happened to me. Although I changed the information in the textbox and click "submit" it still reverts back to the old one.

NO...if I would have gotten it to work. Signatures are a spam-free way to advertise our business and therefore somewhat important. However...

Oftentimes we spend time on things that aren't (that) important, while we should have spent that time on things that ARE important. Such as building our business. Administrative things such as updating profiles or signatures, shouldn't be done during peak business hours. I should have made calls this morning. Instead I got frustrated over "maintenance work." Not a good thing.

The 80/20 rule applies here as well. 80% of our time should be spend on building our business.

So, it's back to the important stuff :)
