I have a real issue or passion for customer service. I always have. In my adult lifetime I have had a few different jobs in which customer service was vital. I even worked for 2 of the TOP employers when it comes to customer service....Nordstroms and YES...THE MOUSE! I have witnessed things over the years that I have been appalled by and , of course, I have seen some things that have made me proud to be a employee for certain employers. I am a EX employee with some insider info on some of the LARGEST companies in the WORLD and how they do things for their customers and WHY they are 1 in customer service....most of the time. Having this life experience ( over 13 years in the customer service industry-one way or another) and my passion for good customer service I have started this website www.lostartofcustomerservice.net in the hopes of not only giving consumers a place to complain about and praise good or poor customer service but also in hopes of building a online community where we, the consumers, have a place to go to be AWARE of what is happening in our communities and find which companies out there deserve our money! I appreciate good customer service, I do not see it often. It is sad to go out these days, I hear more and more that consumers are not being treated the way that they should be, they would rather stay home. We live in a beautiful country, it is a shame to not enjoy it and it is a CRIME to have a unhappy employee who is bitter about their job try and ruin your day! I say it is about time that we start patronizing the establishments that earn and deserve our money! It is, after all, OUR MONEY!
