I would rather be a GUEST then a CUSTOMER!

Nordstrom is FAMOUS for their customer service! Did you know that when you start employment at Nordstroms they tell you a very interesting story about a tire as a example of WHY Nordstroms became FAMOUS for their customer service! The story goes something like this~ Nordstroms purchased a store in Anchorage in 1975 from Northern Commercial Company. A customer, unaware that the store had changed hands, returned a set of tires to the store. Even though the store, as Nordstroms, had never sold tires they let the customer return them. THAT is customer service. Nordstroms does NOT ASSUME THE CUSTOMER IS DISHONEST! Nordstrom believes in their guests. Other businesses CUSTOMERS are their GUESTS. See the difference? CUSTOMERS/GUESTS. Which would you rather be? A GUEST OR A CUSTOMER? Ever wonder why Nordstroms is so wildly famous? Wonder no more!
