Think & Grow Rich - Chapter 6 - Imagination
In this chapter I learn there are two kinds of imagination:
Synthetic:
Through the power of my mind I work with what it has been
fed through experience, education and observation. This ability
creates nothing, it is the warehouse.
Creative Imagination:
Here the power of my mind has direct communication with the
Infinite Intelligence. This is where I tap into the sixth sense of
hunches, inspiration and the vibration from the minds of others.
The emotion of strong desire fuels the power of my mind to
vibrate at an exceedingly high rate. The creative power becomes
more alert, receptive to the vibrations of the vibration of the Infinite
Intelligence and the vibration from the minds of others in my
Master Mind group.
The key to becoming great is the development of my potential in my
creative imagination. It becomes more alert with use!
Transforming desire into reality calls for the use of a plan or plans.
The plan must be formed with the use of imagination and mainly
with what I have stored in my 'warehouse'.
The plan must be put down in writing, only then will it be REAL.
The principles outlined in this book will open the way to understand
imagination. I take what I understand now and as I continue to study
it broadens my understanding of the whole.
We are given illustrations of two stories:
The Enchanted Kettle and A Million Dollars.
• The desire becomes an obsession.
• Definite of purpose is the starting point.
• Do not concern myself with the HOW
• Firm decision and definite action.
• Relax into the confidence and assurance that the money is coming forth in time.
Hill states: I must never become discouraged because of lack of experience.
Every great fortune starts when a creator of ideas and the seller of ideas get
together and work in harmony. I surround myself with a Master Mind group and
a team, where TOGETHER ideas are created and put into operation with the ultimate
goal to OWN my life.
My desire cannot be ordinary, the burning desire must withstand disappointment,
discouragement, temporary defeat, and criticism.
It takes determination, definiteness of purpose, a desire to attain the goal
and persistent effort. It takes staying close to my Master Mind group, my fire
to keep it ALIVE. The idea takes on a GIANT power of its own and drives me on.
Tuesday, for my birthday I am taking a tour of the house of my dreams. I want to
touch the beautiful cherry wood railing, stand in the kitchen and gaze out the large
living room windows at the lake. I will put vagueness and weakly hoping into the
background and definitely say, "This will be my home.".
Thank you Michael, Linda and Master Mind group for the gift of self confidence,
courage, love, harmony, happiness and a life of abundance.
