New In The Business And Already Frustrated?


Are you starting a home-based business or are in it for a while but feel very frustrated. Beginnings can be very difficult. Sometimes, we try too many things and get overwhelmed with too much. We try to gain as much knowledge as it is possible to become successful, forgetting that, even though knowledge is essential, practise and experience is more important, and it does take time.  Most of the time, we put too high expectations which are not realistic. These are some of the reasons why we may feel frustrated and perhaps even think of giving in.

So how do we deal with it?

I believe that the MOST important thing to do when we starting a business or whatever else we do, is to decide not to ever give up. You need say to yourself that failure is not an option.

Set your mindset right.

People do not need to fail, but it’s just that they get many things in the way. They allow things to disturb them, instead of doing their job.

People need to accept that “the dream” is a reality; that it is possible to achieve; it is not rocket science. All you need to do is to follow simple steps to success in the business.

It is fairly easy to do, as long as you understand some basic principles.

You can only fail, if you quit.

There may be frustrations, disappointments, fears but you can overcome it. Be strong and do not allow it to break you. You can only fail if you quit!

Another important thing to remember in the business is the fact that it is not about money. I know, we need money, but it is not about money. If you are in the business only for money, you will make some poor decisions.

Why 97 percent leave the business?

It is not because the system has or has not done something, but because they have unrealistic expectations. It is like a puzzle, one piece at a time. As they have too high expectations, they are unable to stay and do the things they have to do.

So what distinguishes the 3 percent?

They involve themselves in the business - all their skills, talents, interests, characters - everything.
They also believe in themselves and their ability to be successful.

To be successful, you need to follow the leaders.

- They set realistic expectations
- They make a personal commitment to their game plan - they are very involved because they are motivated
- They know about patience - learn to be patient to accomplish your goals and be where you want to be.
- They are involved in community - there is something special about giving to the community - and it is your responsibility to get involved
- They all share their knowledge
- They focus on the tasks at hand
- They solve their own problems
- They see themselves as entrepreneurs, not someone with a job
- They avoid distractions that get in the way

If you want to be a leader you need to act like one!

Is your image positive or negative? Do you look at things half empty glass or full glass.

You get distracted when things do not go just well, you think that there must be another way - a different way - you are thinking you cannot make more money doing this. You need to focus on the tasks at hand.

If something is not working, let it go, and look for things that do work. Do not waste your time. But also, consider that because something is not working quick, does not mean that it will not work at all.
