What You Focus On Determines What You Achieve

This is very essential to figure out what you focus on when wanting to achieve your goals and wants. I believe that this blog could help you understand why you do not fulfil your dreams. Discover what you are focusing on and what you should be focusing on. I will concentrate on business, in this blog, but you can apply it to any area in your life.

When starting a business, people mainly focus on making money - quick money. They usually do not think of the future.

However, if you want your business to be successful for a long-term, you need to think of the future, so how can you do that?

I believe that the best way to take your business to the next level is simply visualising where you want you and your business to be.

Then, find out what you need to do to get there, and make the action. This so simple.

Imagination is very powerful, I cannot stress enough, how important it is.

So how can it be helpful?

Well, when you visualise something - think about something, you almost can feel and smell the place you want to be in, and this drives you to action - this motivates you to become want you want to become, and have what you want to have.

The difference between successful people and not successful people is what they visualise and focus on.

Focusing on money

So let’s talk about people who get into home-based business, and focus on money.

What do they think?

How do I make money? Oh, I really need to make money! - These are the statements these people claim.

These statements are very weak; they are powerless. Because you do not know how much money you want? How you’re going to make the money?

You need details. You need to find out how much money you want to make and how you can achieve that. Then, make the action.

But people do not do that, and this is one of the reason why they are not making the money - They do not know what exactly do they want and how they can make the money.

Focus on value

Let me make something clear here, how much money you will make, depends on how much value, you have put into your business.

If you increase value, you will increase the amount of money.

When you focus on money, you do not provide value, therefore you do not make any money.

So focus on value and the money will come.

Focusing on people

What else should you focus on? What is better than money?

Better than money are people.

People get into home based business and think: “I need to help someone! I need to sponsor someone!”

And it is right, they need people to sponsor and they need people they can help, but it should not be your main goal.

There is so much more for you.

Make your visions bigger!

Focusing on your past

Another thing, people are focusing on in the business, is their past.

Most people are going backward. They are reliving their past.

The problem is that any pain and any negativity is coming from the past.

Let’s say that if you have failed in a business before, you do not want to try again because you ‘know’ that you will fail again. Not trying again is your way of protection from the past.

Or someone you know may have been in the business, and they have failed so you are protecting yourself from the situation.

This is focusing on the past instead of conscious understanding of what is right.

So thinking negatively, like it is not going to work out or this is just going to fail again, is a protection from the past.

You are not moving forward - it is impossible to move forward when you are focusing on your past.

So let your past go and move forward.

Focus on bigger goals

Most people focus on what is in front of them but if you can look further at bigger goals in your life, you create vacuum that fills all the stuff that it takes to get there.

(Vacuum - visualisation - the place where you store your why and motivation to achieve your bigger goals)

The resources show up for you, when you focus on the bigger things. Therefore, do not say that it is impossible to achieve - you just need to want it.

Do not worry that you do not focus on things that are in front of you, because...

Let me ask you something, would be able to achieve the bigger goals, without achieving the ones which are in front of you?

No.

Therefore, do not worry about the smaller goals because you will achieve them along the way of getting to the bigger goals.

I think that a lot of people are still focusing on what is in front of them, instead of thinking of what they could achieve.

They do not create vacuums that could be filled. No vacuum, no need to fill anything. Why should this be filled? Why should you start to make more money.

If you have not created the vacuum, this is very likely that it is not going to happen.

There was a study on Olympic Athletes and every Olympic athlete that had any level of success visualised to the exact degree what it looked like. What it looked like when they were standing on the platform and getting the gold medal.

They all used visualisation - that is why they have succeed.

By the way, your past also creates vacuum. If you think that something negative is going to happen, it is very likely that it is going to happen.

So you need to be very careful on, what vacuum you are creating in your life.

And know that you can get wherever you want to go from wherever you are.

In the end, I just want to say the best you could do for yourself is visualise on what you want; find out how you can achieve it; and make the actions.
