One Email Explains It All

I sent one email explaining my entire marketing funnel to an “Old School Marketing Wizard” that I know, and he responded with some valuable advice for all.

Although the breakdown was supposed to be for his eyes only at first, I know you will see absolute value in this post!

MY EMAIL TO HIM-

Well this is something I have been working on for a little while now and it is all in the beginning stages still. What you are looking at is just the skeleton version of the newsletter and each piece will be updated of course. I wanted you to see it because I know that marketing is your expertise and would be honored to have you input along the way.

Anyway, this is the marketing funnel I have set up based on “Sellication” = Selling Through Education

As opposed to marketing my products directly, and being one in a million sales guys out there, I am offering value and knowledge on the front end, being perceived as an Expert, and building a marketing base of thousands of targeted individuals… That I can now market to for life!

The sales will come automatically down the road on the back end.

Let me explain:

STEP 1- A person comes across an ad online like this one…

STEP 2- They will then go to the link provided, which is one of my squeeze pages designed to get them into my email network.

This is their only option on this page… SIGN UP.

STEP 3- When they sign up, they are then directed to my confirmation page which tells them to check their box for the first email.

STEP 4- Before closing the confirmation page, they are given ONE CHANCE ONLY to bypass the waiting process for the emails to arrive, and for just $5 they can have instant access to almost everything I know right then and there. (This separates the hot prospects from the others) Once they close the page they will no longer be able to purchase the “fast forward” option for $5, but will be given the chance later for $7

STEP 5- They start receiving their “LIFE SAVING MARKETING TECHNIQUES” newsletters & my revenue stream begins!

Not by pitching my mlm opportunity, I will never have to do that. You see, it has switched… As the Expert who is offering Value, I am now the alpha-networker. I won’t just allow anybody to join. I want only the best and don’t have time for the rest. People will instead be pitching me on why I should “ALLOW THEM” to join my company. It’s amazing how well it works.

As far as the front end income stream, I do have over 30 products or services in my marketing funnel that I will continue to profit off of. (Affiliate programs & joint ventures)

They include items such as training materials from my mentors, or products / services that “I Use” and suggest using throughout my first set of newsletters.

Example: In one of my newsletters I explain the importance of having a professional domain name as opposed to sending people to a replicated website.

I offer incredible value as I go over everything you need to know about setting up your site. I even tell you who I get my site from and where you should go to get yours.

Get it? If & when the person goes to sign up for their site through my provided link, I MAKE MONEY!

There are also other money making items in the funnel such as recommended books (w/ my amazon affiliate links) and a lot more.

The best part is, I am not coming off as a “SALES JERK!” I just found a way to make money off the recommendations I would really actually be giving anyway, you know?

STEP 6- They receive the next set of emails geared towards offering them the next step in my training, which is my online e-course regarding “WALLET SAVING ADVERTISING TACTICS” that will cover all of the different ways of advertising, generating leads & building a GIANT customer base.

This is a higher priced course ranging anywhere from $100 - $300 dollars (depending on my current testing points) that I will be offering it at a “Special Insider’s Price” to my subscribers.

This will become the main source of income for me in the future. All the big boys are selling tapes and cd’s all day long!

7- Finally, if I do my job correctly and gain their respect by offering true value throughout this entire process… They will remain in my network FOR LIFE and will be interested in ANY opportunity I may want to pass along in the future.

In the end, rather than just producing a visitor to a generic website, in which you may never hear from again, you turn each one into a genuine lead, and a real live relationship in your network. You offer them true value and become the expert in their eyes. You continue to make money off of all of the products or services in your funnel, you offer a higher priced training package, and you market to them for life.

Oh, and trust me… They will pitch you on why you should let them join your company!

I hope my rambling made sense and I did not bore or lose you.

I just wanted to explain how my marketing funnel worked and have you give me any input you may want to share in the future.

Smart, very smart! I get it.

I know these techniques work, but, it’s always the responsibility of the content provider (that’s you) to have fresh, relevant, digestible content. Content that keeps the recipient wanting to come back for more. The networking here is crucial. Make sure to keep your web feelers wide open for the best sources to fill the pipeline (funnel). Find everything you can from every possible resource, filter through them and screen them for the very best you can offer. There is so much being shared online today, it takes the best minds to cut through the clutter to spot the winners and weed out the losers.

The blog is a really great idea. Again, it’s up to you to keep the pipeline full of relevant and topical content. It’s all about the content, and then finding ways to re purpose that content. Blogging around meaningful, topical subjects will provide great opportunities for expanding your network, exponentially.

Overall, it seem like a huge undertaking, but I have no doubt that you’re the man for the job. Your dedication and commitment to everything you engage in is commendable. Go for it!
