MLM team building is easy when you know this tip


What I’m about to share with you absolutely has the ability to transform not only your current MLM team members, but it will also help you add new personal reps to your team.

  Before I tell you the secret I’m going to tell you what I feel people are truly looking for when they join an MLM team.  **hint, hint… when they join an MLM team…  They’re looking for a great mentor and team to be with.  People want to work with someone who will actually lead them to success. 

I know what you might be thinking if you’re brand new and haven’t had a lot of success yet… that you can’t possibly attract people since you’re not yet successful.  That couldn’t be further from the truth.  As I said people are attracted to leaders.  This means that you have to be willing to do what leaders do.  If you simply show people that you’re willing to do things that make you uncomfortable, and that you’re willing to attempt things when you’re uncertain of success, then you are a leader and you will attract a great MLM team. 

The truth is that most people are still stuck in their comfort zones of certainty, and when they see someone who’s willing to break out of the comfort zones and test the path before them, they will be ready to join your MLM team and follow you almost anywhere. 

So here’s my ultra powerful method for training your MLM team…

  Remember too that I said this method will help you enroll more personal reps as well as help your team to duplicate.  It’s super simple too. 

Alright, alright… enough with the fluffy stuff, here it is. 

You have to have the guts to coach your team members and tell them like it is.  Don’t tell them things just to make them feel good.  Yes, you can pat them on the back and encourage them when they do something right or take action steps, but don’t tell them it’s OK when it’s not.  Basically, if you have some insight into something your team member is doing, then don’t hold back.  Share your insights with them so they too can grow.  They joined your MLM team so you could lead them, and the biggest thing that most people need help with is their personal growth. 

So when someone on your team comes to you for advice, the best thing you can do is relate to how their feeling by telling them a story about you or someone you know who was in that same position, and give them some sage advice on how and why they should break through that position. 

For example… yesterday I had one of my newest MLM team members on the phone, and she was stuck at the idea of calling her warm market.  She said she felt they were burnt out, and didn’t have the courage to call them.  I then told her that I understood how she felt, because up until 8 months ago had been terrified to contact my warm market about business.  Then I told her the story about Ray Higdon having approached his warm market for the 12th or 13th time with Numis, and that he now had a few $10k+ per month earners on his team from his warm market.  What do you think happened next?  She called her brother-in-law, and he’s watching a presentation right now.

You see, I didn’t just tell her to do it because she should.  I related to her, and then shared some insights with her.  I also told her that in the future when she had team members who were in her same position that she’d be able to relate to them on a personal level, and tell her story to get her team members taking action as well.  I took her to the time where she was in the leadership position in her mind, and when she’d have an MLM team of her own, which certainly motivated her to take action to become that leader as well.

So how does this apply to you creating a larger personal MLM team?

You can apply these same concepts to your phone calls with prospects that’ve seen the presentation and like the idea of working with you, but for some reason they’re throwing up objections to keep themselves in their comfort zone.  When they give you objections in this situation, ask them if it’s ok for you to share some insights with them… if they say yes, share your insights and coach your prospects.

By doing this, you’ll immediately be showing them you’re the MLM team leader they’re looking for, and that you’re willing to coach them to success.
