On my way home to Maine
There is nothing quite as awesome as actually going home. Home is the place that we choose to live, home is where we feel the most comfortable. It is the place where we can satisfy our needs without impeding on anyone. Home is really, "Where the Heart Is"....it is the place we want to be when there is no other place that can fulfill our needs. I have found that home can be about anywhere when we are surrounded by those we love and we are in our comfort zone...but, home is truly HOME. When you are a kid, home is where your parents choose for you to live...but once on your own, you can be at home anywhere, or so I believed. But, once you purchase your house, or somehow get your "home", you will never again feel the same way about being anywhere else. Home is the place where you are able to be who you really are, no prejudices...no trying to be someone else...home is the place that you love, just because it is your home. I love my home...can't imagine being anywhere else!! Always great to travel, to meet new friends...but there is nothing like going home!!!
