The Power of YOU
In a previous article, I wrote about How to Stand Out in a Crowd. This post touches on some of the same principles, but in a much deeper way that can affect your entire life.
I'm talking about something that can make the difference between a mediocre life and a successful life, whether it's in Network Marketing or anything else. It's the ability to know who you are and to live your life in complete agreement with that. It means having every aspect of your life, including your attitudes and thoughts, reflect the very core of who you are.
There are so many ways to discover who you are. You can take intense courses or it can be as simple as taking a look at your life.
As a basic start, you could ask yourself the following three questions:
1. What would I enjoy doing for the rest of my life even if I never got paid to do it?
2. What do I find myself daydreaming about that maybe seems unrealistic, but if money was no object I would do it.
3. What natural talent do I excel at?
I'm sure there are more questions that could clarify even further who you are, but this is a start.
Here are some examples of people who live (or lived) their lives as who they truly were.
Paul Potts
Joe Schroeder
Steve Quayle
Farrah Gray
Ian McCormick
Jesus the Christ
Abraham Lincoln
Mike Dillard
Sometimes people can know who they are yet be confused about how to reflect that in their lives. These people often end up depressed and their life falls apart. Without naming names, there are many celebrities who fall into this category. If you look with eyes of discernment, you will see the pain in their eyes. They lack direction. Knowing how to reflect who you are in every aspect of your life is just as important as knowing who you are.
I would like to continue this discussion, but first I'm curious to see what all of you have to say about it. Agree? Disagree? Something to add?
