Is there a reason for being here?

When I started looking around Better Networker the other day I was excited to realize the potential I had at my hands that I had previously overlooked. But today I am not so excited. I am finding that many things I am interested in are blocked to me because I am not a paying member of the ABN, I thought this site was to support and build each other not to make money.

Then I go to the few things I have added in content and I find my content has been viewed 79, 100+ times yet not one single person felt that it would be appropriate to leave a comment or share and since at least two of this were content that give value to how to be a marketer etc I am left wondering what is the point of being here if no one is going to help and share and contribute to the others? Even constructive critism is acceptable if it is not demeaning or hateful. I know I am not so bad that you can't even do that.

I will have to reconsider if betternetworker is truly a community I want to be a part of and that is a shame because I see a lot of good things that I would love to contribute to and learn from.
