My Ah Ha Moment on Chapter 2 Think and Grow Rich

In chapter 2 of "Think and Grow Rich " Desire, after beginning to read the chapter a couple of times, I had an Ah Ha moment it the first paragraph.  The first paragraph is only one sentence, but it conveys something profound if one catches it.  It states that when Barnes got off the freight train to go before Edison, to make known his intentions that "he may have resembled a tramp, but his thoughts were those of a king."

What struck me as profound is no matter what your station in life is, it is what you have chosen to become the dominate thought in your mind that counts!

When we first start out in Network Marketing, we may not be the picture of success.  But what once we come to the realization that we can begin to change our outer appearances, and our station in life by first changing our inner self.  And that begins with what thoughts we hold in our mind and dwell on.

As Barnes was not granted the object of his desire right away, still, his consuming obsession, placed him in a position where his desires could be realized.  Had he settled for any less, he would have moved away from the opportunity making it less and less likely that he would achieve his dream of business partner with Edison.

Likewise,  a majority of people meet with very little success the first few times around on anything new and unfamiliar.  Take someone who has made numerous attempts to build a network marketing business before finding the system or company that when put together can make that person successful.  The thought had always remained in in my head I was going to be successful, its just the right opportunity had not presented itself.

Just like with Barnes, all things that have happened up to this point, has been preparation for the right opportunity, even when it seemed you had failed, in actualality, I had not failed, but I have moved closer to the realization of a desire.
