My Thoughts on Chapter 3 Think and Grow Rich: Faith

Getting into chapter 3, Dr. Hill is starting to really impress upon my mind, what is necessary to turn my DESIRE into reality. He calls FAITH the elixer that makes thought vibrate at a level that can be picked up by other brains vibrating at the same frequency. He said this is what must be done to reach the subconscious mind.

This science had to come into play, when I was able to raise $10,000 to pay for a flight training mission to complete my required flight time to get a job with the FAA. It was in November 2004, Was a senior in college and had just been granted an interview with the FAA. I as short on flight time by 150 hours to minimum.

I needed $10,000 to complete a training mission with a non profit animal rescue to pay for the aircraft and fuel. I had no way to raise that kind of money. I was married with 3 children and finishing school. My wife and I racked our brains and exhausted every idea to raise the money.

It just so happened, I was flight instructing a Gentleman and his wife who lived in Florida part time and Lake of the Ozarks over the summer season, helping her to get her private pilots license.

Seeing the trouble I was having raising the money, the couple donated the $10,000 to the animal rescue and I was able to fly the mission getting my flight time.

It had to be that my desire was so strong to find a way to get the money for the mission, that the right situation and the right people were attracted into my life to make it possible.

So yes, you must develop your DESIRE and do it with faith!
