You Can't Build A Business Based on Money

I was just reading The Alpha Code By Joe Schroeder, which is one of my favorite manuals because it's all about the psychological nature of people and the study of human behavior and how this relates to business.
And I was reading a section where Joe talks about how a business cannot last if it's root is based on earning money. A business will only last if there is a message for people to believe in.
I thought about how many programs I have seen pop up in the past 15 months in this industry and I can name a few that popped up, a few people made a lot of money quick, but then it fizzled out and disappeared.
They disappeared because there was no message behind the program and everyone was running around promoting the business as- You can make money".
There was no substance, there was no message or purpose for people to believe in the business and that's why I fizzled.
And I think of The Million Mind March and how my belief in it's message has kept me a loyal member and given me the stand to continue to bring people to the community- because I believe in it's purpose and message.

Great message and perspective Kristen! People put their loyalty into something that makes a difference for them, that gives them something no other thing does or can, and that is all based upon the relationship. The way people are treated, the way a person goes out of their way to be a guide for someone else, and it may be something as simple as encouragement, recognition or even a sincere smile.
The whole money approach may get some first time buyers but those same people will lose their site if they look at running a business when it's focused on something very topical like money. The money mentality doesn't have any roots!
