Well that's a very welcoming way to begin this journey. I've had over 8 people "thinks they know me" make connections and I guess that means I am on my way to that bare minimum of membership that one needs to have to be considered valid; anyone got a ball park figure, what one should be aiming for to be in the game?

Now, yes there is a certain amount of dripping sarcasm here, and I do feel like there is a very similar experience to be had at any "networking event" where we all get together, armed with our business cards and assault each other with how imperative it is for them to "know" you. Getting the 30 second pitches just right. Looking for the glaze of someone turning off, already deciding that you're not in their "target market"... really is this just an online version of that? I hope not, or I shan’t do well.

Seems to me the age old question of quantity versus quality. The scatter gun approach of many hit’s, many clicks, the click through rate, the number that has been qualified, that will be needed to actualise, for the sale. I get this, I don’t like this, and perhaps that is why I am still not actualising my business... but it just grinds me to treat every one so shallowly... to skim over the top of who they are, make a judgement and slot them into the first or second box.

Yet I know it, I do it when I surf. Is the valuable to me right now? Yes...or... No( can you hear the meatloaf track in the back) So, I guess it really is a matter of finding some kind of middle ground, for I want my business to succeed!

Maybe the nature of my business isn’t for this environment? For I teach women to bleed well. Very personal, very deep, in the body, work. To be honest, I perhaps haven’t learnt enough translation to allow women to easily make that open, yes, I want to know this... So maybe that’s why I’m here! To learn to open women in those first 30 seconds, to an idea that can totally set them free from the hand to hand combat many women live in with their bodies.
