We often hear the phrase "knowledge is power". Fortunately for us, Napoleon Hill informs us that knowledge is only "potential power"! Knowledge by itself will not attract money, status, relationships, etc., unless we act on that knowledge! Taking this one step further--acting on specialized knowledge helps one acquire lazer focus as opposed to spreading that focus thinly over countless, less significant issues that will likely hinder our desired progress. Just like directing sunlight through a magnifying glass can start a fire, we won't get the same results by without that magnifying glass! (Thank God, or the earth would be a great big charred mess by now!)
I choose to be able to find the answer and acting on it when I need to, as opposed to having (dare I say useless?) information that may only help me win a Trivial Pursuit game! I choose to dig deep into the industry and relationships that foster mutual benefit, as opposed to being a "Jack of All Trades." The great thing about acquiring specialized knowledge--especially in today's society--is that it's literally at our fingertips and much of it is FREE! Using the power of the internet, we can access specialized information that experts are freely willing to share.
