Social Networking not working for you?


Are you having just the hardest time with Social Networking, Social Bookmarking, and Social Media in your Network Marketing business? Don't feel bad most people are. So you have setup your blog right? Then you have TONS of Social sites and you use them daily right? If the answer to those two questions are no already then you are behind the eight ball already. The reason why you are not seeing the success that you dreamed of is because you are not following through and your not consistent.

Now there are those of you that are somewhat consistent in your efforts but are still not realizing the results that you have dreamed of. Most people dream of acquiring at least 50 new leads per day for their business, but in actuality they are really acquiring NONE. So why all the struggles to make this social media thing work? The reason is simple, its because you have not positioned yourself to become an expert. You are not an expert in anything.. You don't read the books that will teach you how to become an expert. Do you know that if you spend multiple hours on one particular subject you have already done more than the average person has done? Why not read and learn one subject at a time and MASTER one skill. Do you know that after you have mastered that one Skill, you will know more than anyone you come in contact with. It will be rare that you will find someone that knows more.

So what skills do you need to learn to succeed in social media and networking? Well mastering the art of writing COPY is the first skill I think you should learn. Being able to write persuasive copy is the skill that put Mike Dillard on the right path and allowed him to now sell to people via the Internet with amazing Copy. Learning Pay per click advertising, Website linking, and learning how to connect with people are some skills that you need to acquire immediately.  It has taken me a few years to master the skills that turned my business around, and I continue to learn daily. Don't give up on your dream of growing your downline to massive proportions via Social Mediums if you have only just begun. Trust me, it takes time it really all depends on how focused you are to succeed.

Now let me give you a few tips on what NOT to do in Social Media / Networking.

  1. Don't puke your business all over people (Most people could care less about you and your business, how are you going to help me) is what they are thinking. Stop SPAMMING your business every 30 seconds on how your opportunity is GROUND FLOOR and its the best thing since sliced bread. Trust me, every networker feels the same way about their opportunity.
  2. Don't befriend people just so you can spam them - This is an absolute no no in Social Media. If I really wanted to talk to you and get to know you, I would first send you a message on what I really like about you and your page. Then I would truly get to know the person. You need to SORT for Leaders not Convince people to join you in your opportunity.
  3. Don't lie about Money claims in your posts - Look this is the most ignorant thing you can do. Don't lie that you are making tons of money or you know exactly what you are doing. Honestly its ok to say that you just started out and you want to learn more. It may get you the prospect that you are truly looking for.
  4. NO SELLING, NO INVENTORY, NO SWEAT its easy - Stop spewing these lies Please. Tell the truth and be honest, every Legitimate network Marketing company has a product or service to sell. If they don't, RUN LIKE HECK! This Industry is not easy and you will not become wealthy if you don't have loyal customers.

So in the end, you know what you must do to succeed online. You have to build TRUST, you must be FOCUSED, HONEST, and provide VALUE. Most importantly you need to learn key skills that will allow you to succeed in one area online. There are tons of areas you need to look into, but my suggestion is to get a blog setup and begin to write. Then learn how to write Persuasive COPY. You are going to need it for your Autoresponder. So what's an Autoresponder? Its just a function within an email marketing program that allows you to send emails to your list without you having to send them. Don't worry, I will cover this soon.
