How To Survive Even When Even If Your Upline QUITS!

It can be bad when your down line quits. But can it actually be good when your upline quits?

I was heavily relying on my upline a few years back while I was still trying to figure out this  beast called Network Marketing.

From my immediate sponsor which happened to be my mom :-), all the way up to my primary company itself, I was using every resource I could get my hands on.

It seemed like all of a sudden, everyone started to quit!

The upline rope just started to rot from the top.

First to go was the middle. Those who weren’t quit at the top, but not newbies. Then the top toppled and finally those closest to me in the down line.

Was the problem the MLM industry? Maybe, but MLM is alive and growing. The company? Possibly but, we just celebrated 16 years and opened 2 new countries just this years. So what was it that even made my MOM eventually quit on me to?

What happened was our industry was changing rapidly and those who didn’t or were unwilling to learn new skills simply perished. They started losing their customers, their down line attrition went through the roof, and people were just embarrassed to lose their high profile positions and incomes.

When the going got tough, they QUIT!

I was confused and nervous when these changes were happening all around me. I don’t know if anyone has ever experienced anything like that before yet didn’t follow that downward spiral.

Determined not to be a statistic, I plugged into other teams training like an orphan. I took my tiny orphan team too. I had to do this until I became strong enough to be the upline for my team  I never had. It was awful for a little while but I learned a lot about myself and what it takes to be able to call yourself a leader.

My story it not one of a sudden ’ah ha’ moment which led to all out massive action and wild success.  With thinner than a shoestring budget I was still able to pull in a few hundred dollars in my first thirty days. but it’s not over yet, It's only just begun. With a natural instinct to think outside the box, move before I’m ready and NEVER quit, I am proud to now be one of the InterNetwork Marketing pioneers.

If it wasn’t for my upline bailing out, I may have never moved out of their shadow and the comfort zone my primary company provides so well. I would have not have decided to step into the leadership role I am destined for. I would never have been able to give value to and mentor the leaders I now have
on my team.

After discovering the Internet as one of the most under utilized tool in our industry just a few short months ago, big things are finally starting to happen for me and my team!

Now instead of looking <i>upline</i> for leadership and guidance I just get online and expand my resources and develop my own leadership skills.
