I'd like to Introduce you to what you should be looking for when it comes to lead generation from interacting and networking online.
Meet my friend Dania...
She's brand new to BN and Internet Marketing. We just met today and have had the best time getting to know each other. It started with her leaving a comment on my guest book saying she almost named her own daughter Malika (to bad, she ended up with some other name that was almost as nice ;-) ).
From there I commented back and we communicated through email a few times after.
We talked about Morocco and babies, and Canada and honeymoons, and Guyana, and nomads, and loosing money and California and our dreams in the span of 2-3 emails...
You've gotta meet my new friend Dania. She is so funny and kwel to talk to tons of life experience to share.
We have so little in common that the few commonalities we do share are hilariously funny to explore like her almost naming her daughter the best name in the world(!).
I'm sharing this with you because this is what being yourself, making friends and having people fall in love with you is all about. This is what Mike Dillard and Perry Belcher were talking about in their videos.
Dania probably never watched those videos, but she could teach a class on how to "do" social networking! She's a natural...
Get to know your friends too. And if they start talking to you about compensation plans, asking you if they could be your mentor or trying to sell you their widgets give them a verbal thrashing on my behalf.

Great post and very timely, Malika.
With all of the buzz around here about how to use social networking properly, I hope more people come by and read this post. It doesn't quite come out and say step by step how to do it correctly... but should any of us really need instructions about social etiquette?

When the Uplines/Mentors Teach You Different...
We all need social etiquette, retraining... for the past 9 years I was told to basically frisk everyone I meet in our very first converstion (like they were a cheap trick) to gauge "interest" in my business oppertunity.
I saw people as talking, walking "potential" commission checks. And because I was good at recruiting I got a false sense of justification. It wasn't until my team couldn't duplicate I thought there was a problem and they were the problem, OF COURSE!! lolololol.
Now, I know if I hadn't approached them like cheap thrills then they'd probaly know how to do it right with other people... just like in kendergarten, duh, right?
