How To Build A List Of Prospects For Your MLM Business

Building a list of prospects for your MLM Business is not as easy of a task as I once thought. When I first started my MLM business I thought my list was simply the people I knew... my warm market. Don't get me wrong, your warm market is a list, but to succeed in MLM you need a much bigger list.

I quickly exhausted my warm market list and then thought "Now who do I prospect for my business and how"?

It is not uncommon for the new network marketer to face this same problem. Building an MLM business is full of learning curves and list building is just one of them. A big one. Your list is critical to whether you will reach the success you desire or not. Many network marketers, rookies or experienced, know that a list is needed but do not know what tools are needed and how to use those tools to assist them in their business.

The tool that is need to build a list is a system. When your looking for a system to use to assist you in building a list I recommend that is has the following criteria..

Detailed explanation of how to set up and use the tools provided within the system itself.
A funded proposal or FREE value to offer to people.
Capture pages already set up so you can immediately start to use the tools and capture your prospects contact information by them filling out a form on the page.
A built in auto-responder or instructions on how to purchase and set up your own one. This is where the contact information will be stored so you can follow up with messages and keep in contact with your prospects after they have opt-ed in to your capture page.
Follow up messages that will be sent out over a period of time to your prospects automatically through either the build in auto-responder or you should be able to upload the messages into your own Aweber/Get Response account.
The system should also provide endless training in all areas of building a network marketing business.

In a nutshell the system that you chose should teach you how to build a list of prospects for your MLM business, offer value, have the follow up in place, provide training in other areas of network marketing, and ideally give you an additional source of income.
