I use to work at a day care center and I saw the kids more than the parents themselves. We would open at 6 a.m and close at 6 p.m and some kids would be there from open to close. When I had my first child I didn't want to become one of those parents that didn't see their childs first steps or hear their first words. It saddens me that in order for some families to survive they have to put in more hours at work than they do with their own families.
