Internet Marketing, Can I really do this?

I would like to share with you a quick story…

There I was… just 22 years old, and I’d just bought into my first ‘Home Business’ or “Direct Sales” business..

I’d spent over 3k to get my Independent Distributors code, State license, and training materials. This was a lot for me back then. And I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t have my doubts.

“Can I really do this?,” I would wonder.

I mean, I was a 22 year old kid!  Everyone else in this company who was getting results, was at least three times my age.

Who was going to choose me as their mentor, when I never really mentored anyone before?
On top of that, I knew absolutely nothing when it came to running a business, all I knew was that I had an Entrepreneurs heart and I had a burning desire to be my own boss.

Fast forward two years… and all the things that my “Uplines” were telling me where out of date marketing methods and had gotten me no where and 20,000 in debt.

That’s when I started to venture out and started looking Online for other ways to market my business.

I was the definition of a ‘newbie.’  I remember thinking to myself  ”Can I really do this?”

 WordPress… it took me over two months to figure out how to use it.

Yet… I still had hope.

I looked around, and saw ordinary people getting some pretty amazing results – and I thought, maybe, just maybe, I can be like them.

So I sat at my computer each night after going to College full time and working part-time just make ends meat, learning this stuff, while everyone around me thought I was crazy.

And now, with the perspective of having built a 4 figure/ month business, I’ve realised that the vast majority of things you ‘think’ matter in the beginning, actually don’t.

Look, at the end of the day, this business is pretty simple.

It all comes down to one simple equation:

Traffic + Conversion = Sales

If you get that part right… and you make sure you’re making more sales than what you’re spending on ads, you’re good to go.
