Columbus Led The Way For Explorers, Are You Setting Sail or Shipwrecked?
Christopher Columbus was born in Genoa, Italy. He was the oldest of five children in his family. He wanted to find a short way to get to the Indies by ship in order to trade spice.
He was a Christian and wanted to tell the story of Christ to the people he would find in the far-away lands. He also wanted wealth for himself and for Spain, and he wanted to be famous.
He sailed the Santa Maria and two smaller ships, the Pinta and the Nina.
Columbus led the way for other explorers. The first Columbus Day celebration in the United States took place on October 12, 1792--300 years after his first discovery.
Christopher Columbus was one of the greatest sailors and explorers of all time. In 1492, Christopher's exploration to the New World linked Europe and the Americas. His discoveries enlarged the world and began a new age of exploration. His vision and courage changed the history of the world.
We all should be charting a steady course. Are you continuing to explore innovative methods to communicate with your clients and customers?
During the voyage, beware of the changing winds that stir up so you sail smoothly through the tumultuous times that lay ahead.
Those that are paralyzed by challenge and change will end up shipwrecked.
To your continued prosperity,
