Howdy Folks! I have been away staying away a bit lately. There have been a couple of threads I have been following, that at least by what I have read turned into a BS session, by one member. I don't know really what to make of it and I kinda found it offensive. It just felt like a play yard push and shove, only it seemed kinda one-sided. I am referring to the Fake it Til you Make it
Mostly, the topics seem to rely on Attraction Marketing and in some people's minds it is a WIDE definition. Attraction Marketing is an age old concept, with a few new spins.
I am not trying to offend anyone, but because I am still technically a newbie, because 4 mos. in online marketing does not a guru make. I've actually noticed threads being CREATED in order promote a certain opportunity or new N.B.T.
SUCKED IN TO T.N.B.T.!
Today, I blogged on my personal site about quick fixes and magic bullets, and this blog entry is basically along the same train of thought with some of my other blogs as well.
It's easy to get swayed by "The Next Best Thing!" I just went and culled the herd, jumped out of a bunch of lists and so hopefully my inbox won't be inundated with what looks to me like the same old boiler plate, text, capture and landing pages. All saying the same thing! Thank you No!
I have a couple of good things going on and looking forward now to getting my best things out there, and get healthy. Today is 3 weeks of not smoking!. Actually working out again, and trying to clear my brain. As far as getting sucked in: JUST SAY NO! I guess what I am trying to say is to find a good one and stick to it, put on your blinders look straight ahead. Go for it!

There are still "Real" people out there. (By my count, at least 3!)
Seroiusly, some people are here to learn, not scam. It's not a "pck-up bar", after all.
I don't think Jason B. could have imagined what this site, or indeed, Direct, Network, or ML Marketing has morphed into since he created B.N.
For every donnybrook between competing opinions, there are little diamonds to be picked up and put into the pouch for later. This is "Democracy" writ large. (Even has its own "cops".)
But I like a place like this. I come to it when I'm stuck, or just tired of trying to get the autoreponder to do what I want, or trying to figure out how to get more FREE! ADS! placed where they might do some good. Or to just pick up an idea or two, to see if it fits with what I am trying.
Sure, there are some "clinkers" here. But I welcome them, too.
I was challenged by my Captain, when I gor out of the Navy to "keep learning, every day." That's what I am trying to do. And I search out the "saner" Members at B.N. so I can do just that.

Don't ever want to grow cynical, or grow into a "True Believer"......I just want to grow!

Thank you! Actually, I'm not about gloom and doom, although after reading what I wrote It could be seen that way. I was saying that I know there are sharks out there and that I am just a guppie in the grand scheme of things. But the weather is kinda putting damper on my outlook for sure. Thanks for the pep talk. Glad to see there is another Navy Man in here!

I have noticed threads started for no other reason than a lead gathering exercise too.
I hope the BN team strive to keep on top of the spammers - the value of this forum hinges on being different to the rest. Although some think I am rabid for my views and efforts to maintain the integrity of the site.
