Expose, Involve, Upgrade - That's What Marketing Does
Selling is surrounding someone and trying to "close" them into a purchase. Marketing is about wooing people from interest, to excited, to purchase. Good marketing is really just good social psychology.
They Say: I owe, I owe so off to work I go.
I say: You can't complain about that which you permit.
They Say: How come it's $500 dollars?
I say: What you have to explain you don't understand anyway.
They Say: How do I create a hot ad to get more paid members?
I say: Don't advertise your program, if you do you invite the objection.
They Say: I am so busy. I wish there were more hours in a day!
I say: You haven't even started yet. Have you heard of Oprah or heard of what Caesar got done?
They Say: I can't stand salesmen and self-promoters who ask for money!
I say: Which part of Mother Theresa, John F. Kennedy and Reagan did you despise the most? The fact that they were sales people or that they asked people for money?
They Say: This is my 3rd program and I am still not making a full time income yet. How come?
I say: Maybe you aren't deserving yet. The trick is to stay in one long enough and trade enough time to learn how to make it work for you. Most people fail to get what they want because they fail to trade enough time INTO it.

One addition to Network Marketing...
Hi Adrienne,
I would like to add something to your comments about Network Marketing
There are two sides to Network Marketing. There is the Network Marketing (MLM) side and there is the Direct Sales Marketing side.
Network Marketing (MLM) is about mentoring, coaching and building relationships. Direct Sales Marketing is your company and the products.
I have saved myself years of failure and frustration by finding this out early in my career as a Network Marketer. Understanding these two principles will lead you to the path of success.
One of the tricks is to find the correct company to begin with if you are interested in a good Direct Sales company. By finding a 5 Pillar company you can be assured that you are becoming involved in a great company.
Hope this helps anyone who is looking at joining a Direct sales marketing company.
