My CarbonCopy Pro Challenge
Today is the day! Today is the day I begin my CarbonCopy Pro challenge. I'm going to follow, step-by-step, the plan laid out in the CCPro backoffice, then blog all about it.
First, a little information about me: My name is Suzi Beech. I am a former below-the-line talent agency owner, former restaurant manager, current wife and mom of twins, and wanna-be-more-successful mompreneur. I live in Portland, OR and have also lived in Illinois (Peoria), Arizona (Paradise Valley, downtown Phoenix, and Tempe) and California (Santa Barbara and Los Angeles).
I first became aware of CarbonCopy Pro a year ago, when a good friend, PJ Smith, told me about it. PJ and I had worked together at a Chinese food mega-chain restaurant and had remained friends after she moved to Las Vegas. She had this great new online opportunity and I was very curious. At the time, I was unemployed and not looking forward to the prospect of working going back to having a J.O.B. suck the life out of my life. I knew the freedom that came with being a business owner from my years spent working for myself, operating my talent agency in LA. I didn't want to give up my new-found time freedom to go back to the daily grind of being an employee. After working for years as a restaurant manager and spending 60 to 70 hours a week at my job, I was burned out and realizing how much time I had missed with my kids. I was all ears when PJ started telling me about this "no-fail" business plan.
After some discussions with my husband and more conversations with PJ, I submitted my CCPro application and, subquently, purchased my Black Box. I was SO gung-ho...at first. Even though I wasn't fully sure what I was selling and had very little clue what I was doing, I followed the guide in the CCPro backoffice and went through the initial steps. I spent about a month getting comfortable with the product and learning a little about marketing. I bought a domain and set up my auto-responders, as was laid out in the CCPro training program. Then I joined another opportunity and started following their marketing training programs as well, then another and another.
Suffice it to say, I suffered major information overload. PJ was a good sponsor and tried to talk me through many issues. She was always so enlightening to talk to and so full of useful and helpful information, yet I still felt paralyzed and unable to generate any leads, let alone sales. I took more and more marketing training classes, paid for more and more courses, dowloaded more and more free ebooks and got onto a zillion lists. My inboxes were overflowing with new and improved products I needed to purchase, trainings I needed to attend, breakthrough lead generators I needed to sign-up for...I was overwhelmed and stuck.
I continued plugging away at educating myself in online marketing, and used the marketing knowledge I gained to open my own Marketing Business, where I have celebrated moderate success. My husband and I also own a brick and mortar franchise, Home Video Studio, and I have used my newfound marketing skills to market that business, as well.
But, always at the back of my mind, was my CCPro failure. I want to be a CarbonCopy Pro Success! I want to be a featured member and go to the live events and get my name on their leaders board! I want to be a valuable member of the CCPro community and, most importantly, want to be a role model for other moms looking for a better way of life for themselves and their families.
I hadn't logged in to my CCPro backoffice for months, even though I continued to pay for my membership. I recently went back to it and am really impressed by the new layout, the organization of materials and the new CarbonCopy Pro University. So here it is, the challenge I have set forth for myself:
I, Suzi Beech, am going to follow the CarbonCopy PRO training, as it's outlined through CCPro University and my backoffice. I am telling you, the world at large, because I want you to be able to follow my successes and failures as they happen. I hope to gain insight from your feedback and comments, as well as encouragement. I'm also using this forum to keep myself accountable - if I've told all of you that this is what I'm doing, then I'd better well do it! I will blog about the training, what I'm doing and what sort of success I'm having here at my blog, memorably called SuziBeech.com.
I am hoping that my trials and tribulations will be interesting, maybe informative, possibly educational and perhaps even funny.
Please feel free to comment, laugh, point fingers, encourage...I want to hear back from you!
Thanks in advance for reading this long-winded post and I hope to see you over at my blogsite!

Congrats and Welcome Suzi
Congrats on making that change inside of you to not quit and to just start over fresh. CarbonCopyPRO is an incredible education platform, but I'll be honest, without some guidance as to direction, it does get quite overwhelming. I had the same problem when I first started out with CcPRO. SO, welcome back Suzi and feel free to send me a message if I can help in any way. Take care!
Pablo
Thanks Pablo!
