Hello Everyone,

As my first blog, and being new to betternetworker.com I couldn't help but feel like this is the start of something pretty amazing. How lucky are all of us that we have a means of communicating like this? Network marketing is one of the oldest buisness models, so we know it works. If you look at the ways we have of communicating now, it's pretty ridiculous (in a good way of course).

I don't know about any of you, but I've received a lot of flack from non-network marketers. Some people simply don't understand, or are just plain unwilling. That is their prerogative. It used to bother me and their negative feelings would start to diminish my positive feelings. Then I realized something profound, I am the only one who has the power to change my mindset. These negative people were becoming an excuse for me to not succeed. I was not going to let that happen. We need to develop the right mental attitude.

The biggest difference between people who succeed and people who don't is how they think, it's a choice. You must choose long-term thinking. We all experience the yes, maybe, & no. The ones who succeed just rise above the emotions.

Being in a community with such support will really save us all. I think all of us will help eachother stay in a positive mindset and I look forward to future discussions. After all, if we don't have the proper mindset, we have nothing.
