Is That a Place You Want To Be?
The New American Debate?
I believe that the new measurement of accomplishment
is not so much about income as it is influence.
It’s about your network, not always your net worth.
It’s about sow, serve and share. It’s about influence, not your resume.
It’s about fighting for your personal expression and standing
up for your personal freedom, more than standing behind your
office manager asking, “what’s my next task? Boss.”
I believe that society is set up to pay you just
enough so you’re inches away from mortgage suicide.
Most people are paid just enough so they don’t start a
revolution and virtually on the brink of “hand to mouth”.
Cheery stuff, and there’s more because society is set
up to keep your finances at the control of the institutions
that doles out the money in the first place.
Plus, it’s really easy for them because all they do is pay you enough
to get by and then they offer you more ways and means to borrow more
money for all of the extra’s you want. That’s why they invented credit cards.
The world around us is set up to connect you to paying them
for the privilege to work, to play and to use their system.
How can you fully serve your FAMILY by
(A) being what people think you should be
or
(B) by being the you that was designed for leadership, power and fat checks?
Most people live in other people’s mind and other people’s perception of reality.
That’s called fitting in. That’s called “don’t rock the boat.”
Question, do you want to end up like everyone else?
If you do and think like average people do you will end
up at the end of your life just like them.
Is that a place that you want to be?
Strength and Honor!
