Why You Shouldn’t Be Like Sarah Palin In Your Home Based Business!

Former Vice Presidential nominee is a pretty controversial figure in American politics. Some people hate her and some people adore her. For some people she is their worst nightmare and for others she is a role model. However, no matter how you feel about Sarah Palin you should never, ever, ever be like her in your home based business… here is why.

Governor Palin wrote a best selling book titled “Going Rogue” and while that’s not always a bad thing in the rest of your life it is a really bad thing in your home based business.

The people who are always the most successful working from home are the people who are able to follow a simple system and not question it. If you are trying to find success in a business why not just do what the successful people are already doing? Where most people in network marketing tend to get tripped up is that they want to do everything in their own way. Now granted sometimes it works out but in almost all cases it doesn’t.

Why do so many people try to re-invent a system that is working for other people? I don’t know. Maybe it’s pride or arrogance or maybe it’s just their nature. Whatever the reason it is a mistake. Avoid “doing your own thing” at all costs. In network marketing you’re not paid to be creative you’re paid to make sales and sign up new reps so focus on that and be creative in other areas of your life. That might sound harsh but I just want to have you avoid a huge mistake that many people have to deal with.

Going rogue might be a good thing in politics but it’s not a good thing in network marketing.

Stick to the basics of MLM. Talk to as many people as you can per week, stay positive and set goals for yourself along the way. This is a path to success and wealth. Ignoring proven methods isn’t a path to anything but failure.

So no matter where your politics stand do yourself and your bank account a favor. Listen to the people who have come before you. Find success by doing what others have been doing. Don’t go rogue.
